ChiChi Collections loves to Accessorize! Here are a few tips on how to accessorize your outfit:
The first Step on how to accessorize your outfit correctly is to take a look at what you are wearing. What colors do you have on? Neutrals? Bold Pinks? Black and Blue? If you are wearing neutrals or darker clothes with less color, we suggest you accessorize your outfit with something colorful. Also, consider what styles of clothing are you wearing? Is it girly? Office tailored? Formal or Elegant? What your outfit looks like is important in choosing the right accessories. Clothes play an important part when it comes to accessorizing your outfit, so it’s best to make them as tasteful and stylish as possible. Here are some of my favorite ways to accessorize your outfit!
*JEWELRY is one of my personal favorite ways to accessorize your outfit! If you’re wearing neutral/plain colors, you can do almost any color of jewelry. Choose a body part to focus on and stick with it. If you pick earrings, leave your neck bare. Choose earrings that make a statement, such as these peacock earrings.
If you chose your neck, feel free to load it with necklaces dainty and clunky alike, but wear the tiniest, most understated earrings possible…like tiny rhinestone studs or pearls. We love this Missing link necklace and earrings set.
For hands, don’t do bracelets and rings at the same time. Sometimes less is more!
* HAIR ACCESSORIES are at the top of my list for how to accessorize your outfit! If you wear a hat it needs to go with your outfit! A straw hat ornamented with silk flowers would be cute with that sundress but not a formal gown. This 20′s Inspired Clothe Hat is the perfect fall hat with a cute jacket and looks adorable on! Hair pieces are very versatile as they can be worn for decoration, to keep your hair back, or both. I love how it can make an outfit go from plain to incredibly unique.
*BELTS are a great way to accessorize your outfit! Whether they be pink or green or brown and orange striped, belts are always adorable! Belts come in a variety of styles…thick and thin and in all colors and materials. I love this adorable inspiring brown floral belt! It’s the perfect statement piece and can dress up any old ensemble.
*SCARVES are great for all year round. If it’s winter or fall, accessorize your outfit with a thicker one but if it’s summer or spring choose a thin one to add a pop of color. Love this punch of purple scarf for fall!
*HANDBAGS are a great when you need to accessorize your outfit and extremely practical at the same time. Oversized totes are a personal favorite of mine. Great for looks and for storing all your personal items. This dijon carryall satchel does just that!
The list could really go on and on! Accessories are fun so make sure you have fun with it!
Summer accessories are all about showcasing your personality and color! This is the time of year you need to go bold and have fun. Pack away the neutrals and pastels, you won’t be needing those anytime soon. Your summer accessories may include purses, lightweight scarfs, sunglass pouches, bracelets and necklaces. It doesn’t matter what it is, the key is that you are accessorizing those cool summer outfits.
Here are 5 great summer accessories we just adore:

A long time ago it felt like we were just chasing a dream, now we are proud to introduce to you…ChiChi Collections, pronounced “She She”!!!
Over the past few years we would talk about the possibility of owning a clothing boutique. It wasn’t until one day early in the morning we decided it didn’t have to just be a dream and we decided to make it a reality. We always had an eye for accessorizing and prided ourselves on finding affordable unique items that others insisted to know where we got them! We figured what better time to start our own online boutique than now! Brainstorming and business planning took up much of our free time for months and months and we were so excited to finally get down to business and do what we do best…shopping! We attended our first apparel market in February and began ordering clothes, handbags, accessories and jewelry. Since then we have spent countless hours working on our website, a big thanks to Stanislav Romanov at ADCway and Matt Steeves at Matt Steeves Photography for their contributions to our site.
A little background on us….
We are sisters who grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. From an early age we can remember the countless hours fighting over clothes. Of course we always wanted to wear what wasn’t ours! It wasn’t until Jodie went off to college and we lived in separate states that we realized if we only would have shared our clothes…we would have had a much larger wardrobe. Fortunately years later we ended up in the same state again! Now living only minutes away from each other we have the best of both our closets!
So here we are today…
We spent years in the interior design field and although we loved decorating the inside of a home, we truly wanted to stick to the closet only! We are extremely passionate about clothes and promise to shop for the most unique merchandise. If it’s a great pair of flattering jeans that make our butt look great or an accessory that makes an outfit go from plain to just plain awesome….we will find it! We know for a fact that wearing clothes we are excited about can boost our self confidence. We want our customers to leave the house feeling confident and beautiful in our clothes. To us, looking our best and standing out from a crowd is so important.
A special thanks to our Mom and Dad, as we have been so fortunate to have parents who have helped guide us and let us follow our hearts. And we cannot thank our husbands enough for their unconditional support. Shopping and accessorizing has always been the thing that can put a smile on our faces. Fashion is in our blood and we hope that this blog will enlighten, amuse and keep you wanting more. After all we are just two girls chasing our dreams!
