MEET JODIE

Hi, I’m Jodie. I was born and raised in a quaint little town outside of Chicago.  Lovely as it was, I  couldn’t wait to move somewhere warm and sunny.  I did just that and attended college in Tampa  and entered the next chapter of my life. While I was in love with the city of Tampa, a unique opportunity pulled me down to Southern Florida where I now call home.

When not working (which is most of the time), you’ll find me hanging out with my 3 boys (my husband, toddler and infant that is), losing track of time in Target, pounding the pavement, literally (I love running) or in the kitchen eating yet another spoonful of Nutella. I’m addicted!

I’m inspired by all things creative and love, love fashion. I’m a boutique owner and blogger.  My  goal is to share an inspired lifestyle through fashion, food and family and of course all things  beautiful. Thanks for visiting today.

MEET JILLIAN

Hi, I’m Jillian. I was born and raised in that same town outside of Chicago…just 5 years later, making me the baby of the family. I graduated from Ball State University in Indiana and spent a year in Indianapolis before opportunities and family drove me to Southern Florida. I am a firm believer that all things happen for a reason and am grateful for the move south, since this is where I met my amazing husband.  Although now a Floridian, I will always consider myself a true Midwestern at heart!

Life isn’t about finding yourself it’s about creating yourself and that is exactly how I live my life. I love being creative whether it’s with fashion, cooking or designing my house. I am inspired by all things beautiful. I adore my family and friends. I have an obsession with shopping , I like shiny things with a vintage touch. I spend a lot of my free time cooking and working out. I love taking pictures of pretty things. A great glass of red wine makes me really happy. I love music and blogging…it’s good for the soul.

My inspiration behind starting ChiChi Collections was my true interest in helping all women feel beautiful.  After all I am just a girl who loves fashion and life.

OUR STORY

A long time ago it felt like we were just chasing a dream, now we are proud to introduce to you…

ChiChi – “Elegant and Trendy.  Fashionable.  Pretty and Stylish.”

For years would talk about the possibility of owning a clothing boutique. It wasn’t until one day early in the morning back in 2010 we decided it didn’t have to just be a dream and we decided to make it a reality. We always had an eye for accessorizing and prided ourselves on finding affordable unique items that others insisted to know where we got them! We figured what better time to start our own online boutique than now! Brainstorming and business planning took up much of our free time for months and months and we were so excited to finally get down to business and do what we do best…shopping!  We attended our first apparel market in February 2011 and began ordering clothes, handbags, accessories and jewelry.  Since then we have spent countless hours working on our website, a big thanks to Stanislav Romanov at ADCway and Matt Steeves at Matt Steeves Photography for their contributions to our site.

A little background on us…

We are sisters who grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. From an early age we can remember the countless hours fighting over clothes.  Of course we always wanted to wear what wasn’t ours!  It wasn’t until Jodie went off to college and we lived in separate states that we realized if we only would have shared our clothes…we would have had a much larger wardrobe.  Fortunately years later we ended up in the same state again!  Now living only minutes away from each other we have the best of both our closets!

So here we are today…

We spent years in the interior design field and although we loved decorating the inside of a home, we truly wanted to stick to the closet only!  We are extremely passionate about clothes and promise to shop for the most unique merchandise. If it’s a great pair of flattering jeans that make our butt look great or an accessory that makes an outfit go from plain to just plain awesome…we will find it! We know for a fact that wearing clothes we are excited about can boost our self confidence. We want our customers to leave the house feeling confident and beautiful in our clothes. To us, looking our best and standing out from a crowd is so important.

A special thanks to our Mom and Dad, as we have been so fortunate to have parents who have helped guide us and let us follow our hearts. And we cannot thank our husbands enough for their unconditional support. Shopping and accessorizing has always been the thing that can put a smile on our faces.  Fashion is in our blood and we hope that this blog will enlighten, amuse and keep you wanting more.  After all we are just two girls chasing our dreams!
